Mission
Structure and evaluate a planned M&A transaction in the energy sector: takeover of a production site under an outsourcing model, modernization and new construction of the plant facilities and full transfer of operations (carve-out). Scope: Management of the due diligence phase and development of the post-merger integration strategy.
Approach
- Establish a structured process to conduct the due diligence process (information gathering, risk assessment, cost planning)
- Management of work streams (IT/ERP, HR, Operational Technology, Regulatory, etc.) to produce the due diligence documentation
- Development of the post-merger integration concept for the implementation of the planned transaction
- Definition of a standardized PMI approach for future acquisitions
